An athlete’s health and injuries should be managed differently than others. Therefore, it is important for athletes to work with an expert who knows both injuries and sports.
An athlete’s health and injuries should be managed differently than others. Therefore, it is important for athletes to work with an expert who knows both injuries and sports.
While most athletes do well with general strength and conditioning programs, each athlete has unique movement strategies that require individualized attention. Linking the athlete’s preferred movement strategies to the demands of their sport and position can maximize their performance and reduce injury risk.
As a sports physical therapist, Dr. Hanz Tao has tested experience applying biomechanical principles to sport-specific movements and demands of training and competition.
